Mardi Gras Masquerade Pictures
First off, Happy Raversary Swee-tee!
With that said, the beginning of finding the Mardi Gras party was pretty funny. We (Swee-tee, Freckles, Xuan, and I) followed the directions but didn't realise that it was talking about the map point location, not the actual venue. Since we didn't see a venue we decided to continue down the road to see if we saw one, as well as look for some food. We eventually ran into a Jack in the Box and went in to dine. Once inside we looked across the street, and what did we see? The venue!
After dinner we went and got a parking spot and headed over. Once there the security was curious how we found the venue without going to the map point first. We told them we saw it from Jack in the Box and they informed us we had to go back down the the map point to get our wristbands before we could go in.
Once in we found 2 dance floors, one downstairs one upstairs. Both floors had their pros and cons, but both were spinning some really good stuff. The only problem with the upstairs floor is that it proves physics is right when it states that heat rises because upstairs was really hot! Go body heat!
Overall the whole night was pretty successful. I heard that there was one fight that broke out but it didn't cause any grief for the party. Hopefully everyone that went had a fun time! See you at the next event.
