I wasn't in the Citrus room all day, just about 45 mins for Infected Mushroom, the rest of the time I was outside.

For sure about next time. We definitely need to figure out where to do meet and greets. It's fun being able to see everyone, even if it's only once, it makes the night just that much better. :)

Dang your crazy how could you stay in citrus all day haha dont get me wrong it was awesome but wow it was so hotttttt. I probably stayed in their for like 30 minutes the set infected mushroom was playing. HAHA and the bathrooms thats exactly what happened to us go there around 9ish and go to the line and were like wtf 3 bathrooms wow. Drum & Bass though was my fav room I was in their for like 3+ hours probably I wish I would of taken pictures but I was seriously getting 3+ hours of lightshows nonstop hahaa. But yeah next rave we gotta contact eachother before so we all can meetup. :: Goes to look at pictures :D ::

EDC... it never fails to impress me. Tens of thousands of colorful ravers all dancing under the stars... does it get any better?? Good people, good music, good vibes. Yay!!

Infected Mushroom.. again was the highlight of the evening for me. Too bad it was so HOT in the main area, I had to stand outside for nearly half of their set. Was it worth it, OF COURSE it was :P

Not only did I succeed in staying out of trouble, but I managed to get a few good photos too. If you've already looked through the gallery, take another peek soon because mine will be interlaced with Obvious' pics...

Seeing as I'm at work, I'll write a proper review if I get bored enough. Until then, PLUR to all of you!

Electric Daisy Carnival 2006 Pictures

EDC…damn what a night!

Sparrow, Noon, and I showed up to EDC around 4:30 PM. The line was long, probably a football field long filled with a bunch of awesome people ready to have a good time. Once past the gates we headed to the restrooms where we found there to be only 3 porta-potties for the park. Later on we found out that there were more and some indoor restrooms, but it was funny having to wait in line for an hour to use the restroom. :P I’m glad that I didn’t actually have to pee but was instead holding the spot for Liquid and FishE. In the line I met a cool guy who’s known as The King. It was pretty chill; he’s been in the scene for a while and was trying to help out his DJ friend by passing out CD’s. It was a fun bathroom conversation with him and the others around.

After we all were done using the restrooms we headed over to the VIP area to get our 21+ wristbands. We jumped in line for drinks and started talking to everyone around and noticed that our friend Joe and his friend Prnkstr were also there in line for drinks. We all merged together and started having a ball. We say that they were serving Budweiser, Bud Light, Smirnoff Vodka, Nitro 2 Go, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and water or any combination you wanted. Most of us were quite impressed that they actually used Smirnoff Vodka and not some cheaper brand for an endless vodka bar. It was quite nice. While in the line for drinks we noticed Noon trying to get our attention because he had found some people that we didn’t think were coming. As we looked Noon’s way we noticed that Feverdream and Turtle were following him in tow. I was definitely excited to see them, but Sparrow’s intense joy, and sprinting out to give them hugs was by far better to watch. :D When we were almost to the front of the line we noticed that there was a guy holding two glasses of beer and drinking from the bottom one while the top one did a waterfall over into the first glass. I got a picture of it because it was pretty cool. When everyone had their drinks it was time to go out and venture the park!

While walking around we got to bump into Love Bugg, Rava Flava, Nubs, John John, PinkE, Vision, Rave Angel, Sleepy, Digits, Danielle, and a bunch of other awesome people! I just wish that I could have that good of memory retention to remember everyone’s names! The crew that I’d been hanging out with (Noon, Sparrow, FishE, Liquid) all decided we wanted to go on the huge slide and that hold hands together when sliding down. While waiting in line we noticed a helicopter circling around throwing daisy petals out all over the crowd. Ok EDC was awesome in its own right, but when you see someone go above and beyond and do something crazy sick like that it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Eventually we got on the slide and came down all laughing and having fun. It was totally fun getting to do that with my raver family. We got up and continued walking the park, hitting up the VIP area whenever we wanted something to drink and had a blast. In fact in the VIP area there were two lovely ladies that had forgotten to wear their shirts and someone was nice enough to paint them one. ;) :D :P Gotta love FishE watching out for her boys and pointing it out. :D

As it got darker I was a little upset about was the fact that they had said “No strings attached to any glow product.” That totally bummed me out because I love to string, however as it got darker all the glow-stringers started to come out. :P After seeing several people stringing I went ahead and pulled out my shoelaces, some glow-sticks, and started messing around. I wish that I could have gotten in some black tape so I could have made the awesome 5 glow-stick long string like Twister does, but hey, I was just happy to be able to string. :) We walked towards the Citrus room because we knew Infected Mushroom was going to start playing soon and on our way over we got to see Kittie, Prozac, Ashley, Luke, Tigger, Royal and Twister. Twister was able to bring in his awesome glow-stick string which was sick because he totally rocks the strings! I got several pictures and a video clip of it. However that wasn’t the best part!

Infected Mushroom started playing at 10:15 PM and everyone I was with all wanted to go check it out so off we went to the Citrus room to have our minds blown away. Once inside things got crazy. Our group broke apart, everyone split everywhere and everyone inside was going nuts. I happened to be fortunate enough to have been in the middle of the room when I noticed people starting to spread apart to open up some floor space for someone to do something. When I got closer to see what was going on I had noticed that Twister started glow-stringing! Holy crap is there anything then awesome kick ass music playing and seeing someone like Twister glow-string his ass off! I got a pretty kick ass 40 second video of him stringing while Infected Mushroom tore up some awesome music. Also while inside I got to bump into Groove who was another person I didn’t think was coming. We danced and exchanged our hellos but were both going in different directions. After 45 minutes of going all sorts of crazy I needed to head out and get something to drink!

On my way to get a drink I got a phone call from Liquid letting me know the rest of our party finally got there. I shot over to the slide because they were going to do that again, and I got there just in time to take a picture at the bottom of Coco Puff, Allison, Liquid, Swee-tee, and FishE. From here everything was a blur as we walked around the park, took pictures, had fun, and chilled with tons of people. My group eventually found a common spot that we were chilling at where I got to see Flutterby, MoOo, Trooper, Stogi-ESpout, DeJaVu, Roostyr, Coyote, Lazy, and Gingerbread. We got to chill there till around 1:45 AM when Sparrow’s back started to give out. Everyone else wanted to stay and hang out till the end so Sparrow and I went out to his car.

Once at his car we hung out listening to music till around 3:30 AM when I needed to get back to talk to Shadow and get some of the Dream Again flyers. These were important for 2 reasons, one being that One World One Dance is a cool as hell crew and I love their parties, but two, I actually made the flyer! Wee! I passed out flyers and looked for my crew until we were forced to leave as a row of police officers on horses started ushering people towards the parking lot. I finally got back to Sparrow’s car where I got to meet up with Badger one last time before heading out for the night.

Looking back on the event I wish that I had gotten a few people’s phone numbers before the party so I could have tried to meet up with them. I didn’t get to see my lovely raver ladies Breezey and Tails, and I didn’t get to run into my regulars like Teddy, Minion, Tripz, or Xuan and a bunch of others that I probably forgot. :P I also would have loved to have explored the area a bit more. I ended up only going in the Citrus room and never hit the other hangars, I never hit up any of the rides except the slide, and when I left to go outside with Sparrow I wish I would have given my camera to one of my crew so they could have continued taking pictures! Both cameras left the part at the same time! Doh! :(

All in all I had a total blast and I hope that everyone else did too! See you all at Dream Again and keep up the P.L.U.R.R.

EDIT 6/27/06 @ 7:51 PM - Ok...I got Sparrow's photos up but we're having an EXIF data problem. You'll notice that the first page and a half are from photos from late night. The creation date says it was some time in 1967 or something. We're working on fixing it and from now on, when we have more then 1 photographer the pictures should flow seamlessly together. :P
