Wow! What a night! 1 World 1 Dance pulled off yet another successful and awesome event!
The night started off at 10:00 PM when the info line was updated, map point was released, and doors were open! When I walked in I got to see Feverdream, CheeSEXburger, Spike, Rob Bass, Wirdowe, Jolly Greens, X_Phactor, Familiar, Fluff, Beeker, and Jax. The beats started bumping in both rooms as Interstellar was playing in the main room and Milithor was spinning in the second room. The venue was decorated in posters, the chill room was set up all nice and cozy along with poster board and crayons ready for the happy ravers to draw and design on.
The main room's laser was intense layering two colors, maybe more, one on top of another to create whatever color combination you wanted! To top it off not only was it a cool effects laser, but it was also programmable! You could write whatever you wanted in whatever font you wanted and it would go ahead and shine it brightly in any multicolor color combination that you can imagine! It was pimptastically awesome!By around 11:00 PM the party was starting to pick up. More people arrived in the shuttles and the music was bumpin' nicely. Bubbles, Genuine, and friends were all having fun dancing to The Fusion Brothers. Nrgizer was in the second room spinning a mad fun set while everyone picked up on the beats. While in the second room I got to say hello to Priest and take a funny picture of him pulling guard duty in front of the “Super VIP” area.
Around 11:30 I made my way out to the main room to listen to X_Phactor spin when I bumped into the always awesomely, and creatively decorated, Frosty. His outfits are always astounding, tonight he looked like a Borg from Star Trek! It was bomtastic!When I got into the main room X_Phactor was already spinning up a wicked sick set! He always spins kick ass sets but this one sounded a little different…maybe it was because more people were coming in and the dance floor was filling up, but the vibe in the room was totally awesomely chill, everyone was dancing, and the main room looked alive and ready to party. Oh yes…Alignment was going off the hook.
Just before midnight Lightswitch, Minty, Wow, and two other of their friends showed up, however they accidentally left their tickets in the car! They had to wait for one of their friends to take the shuttle back, pick up their tickets, and then come back! That’ll be a memory they’ll remember.
At 12:15 AM En3rgy showed up to tear up the second room and relieve 3nergiz3r. I jumped back over to the main room to catch more of X_Phactor’s set when I bumped into Riff, Tracer, Big J, and crew. We said our hellos, took some pictures while at this same time Kristina Sky came in to relieve X_Phactor. She started to lay down some mean hard hitting tunes when I decided to wander about the main room to see what other pictures I could take, when who do I bump into, but Famously Unknown, Heythar, and Arick!
I grab a quick picture and make my way back to see En3rgy spin!En3rgy, as always, was laying down some seriously awesome and dance inspiring beats. Everyone in the room was getting their groove on and dancing in synch with the music. At this time I bumped into Trojan Man who gave me a quick hello but was on his way out to the main room. Hanging out in the back of the room, ever picture hungry, I noticed two awesomely rad people walk into the room! Prozac and Mo0nGl0!
Another awesome cat snuck in to say hello too and get another infamous shot with my hat, Pink Panther! Right behind Pink Panther was Billboard, Mila PookiE, and Hello Kittie! Warm hugs and hellos were given all around. On my way out heading back to the main room I ran into Wings and LasKaA. Once inside the main room Heythar wanted to take a picture, just the two of us. Right after taking that picture I was approached and greeted by C@mel! The main room was now pretty packed and everyone was jamming to the oh-so-sweet sounds that we love. I got to bump into my double Captain Obvious, getting down on the dance floor, along with Badger getting down with his bad self. Wondering around as I do, I ran into my Rave Brother Noon, and Treefish!
Forging my way back to the front I bumped into Ultra Violet and Orion, Sin, and up front I saw Jax, Alley Cat, and friend chilling by the speakers. On my way out to the second room I got to run into Phatt Man, and Kebler who was hanging out with Famously Unknown and crew.When I got to the second room Rob Bass was laying down the bass beat law! Bouncing back to the main room I bumped into Meeeshka and Sunshine, doing what they do best, giving lightshows!
I went to the front to see who was playing and got to see Kinetic Distortion tearing it up. Going from room to room, back and fourth, I ran into Philippe of Neo Sapiens, promoting for his next event Music for Robots. After chatting a while I made my way back into the main room when I heard some awesome track playing. Making my way towards the front I bump into Casper and Lolly, meet and greet, click a few, and continue forging my way to the front to see…Shadow Danielle!Shadow was ripping up the floor and bringing all sorts of chaotic sounds and beats to the main floor! After all the buildup from one artist, to the next artist, leading up all night put the crowd into a massively awesome vibe dancing the night away like there was no tomorrow. It was intensely awesome! At this point I knew this party went off the best it could have and that everyone was having an awesome time.
I made my way back to the second room to listen to Freeman spin and help Feverdream bring in his records for his upcoming set. We got the records inside, but Feverdream decided to let Freeman go a little bit longer since one of the timeslots was empty from ma DJ that was MIA. I headed back to the main room to listen to Shadow spin some more before Feverdream started his set. I went and hung out with Noon and Treefish to chat for a while when the oh-so-dreaded thing happened…the music stopped.
Unfortunately the thing we hate did happen, but at least it was a righteously awesome and kick ass party until it ended!
When everyone was headed out I finally got to see Stellar who was driving the shuttle back and fourth all night, as well as Thee-O who was to go up next after Shadow got done spinning. Now that was a personal bummer for me as my two favorite artists, Feverdream and Thee-O, were BOTH coming up next, and I didn’t get to listen to either one spin. Oh well…that’s why I have their mixes and I melt CD’s when listening to them! Mua ha ha ha ha ha! 
All in all 1 World 1 Dance threw an unbelievably awesome event! I hope everyone that went had fun before, during, and after the party, and look forward to seeing you all at the next event!
