Sparrow, Flutterby, Famously Unknown, and I arrived at Brainstorm around 9:00 PM and saw Pacman helping with the front gate. We then rolled up further and bumped into Milbert Miles of What You Want Productions who was ecstatic to see Sparrow. We had an awesome meet and greet and then headed off to the party.
Once at the party I went off as I always do looking for pictures. Wondering around the party we bumped into Groove and Mushroom Girl helping with parking. Groove was super happy to see Sparrow and big hugs were exchanged. It was a lot of fun since this is his first rave since his surgery.
While at the main stage we bumped into Banshee Prodigy and Prozac. We bounced around to the different stages listening to all the great DJ's spin their tunes all while having a great time doing so. We went to the car to get something to drink as we were walking away two people in different cars yelled my name and to my delight I got to see Love Bugg, Eric, and Digits. They were people waiting to park so we shared a few quick hellos before they shot off to park. Eventually Love Bug and Eric came over and we got to meet and greet again, and this time take some pictures.Walking over to the trance area I tried getting a picture of Mushroom Girl but she was being shy tonight so I only got her "No pictures please" pose.
Pushing past towards the DnB area I bumped into C@mel. When I looked around I noticed that there were a lot of people hanging out in this area. I got to see Groove, Stellar, Beeker, Sweet-pea, Midas, Skywalker, CheeSEXburger, Prozac, MaxX, Shiny, Spaz, Philippe, Boing, and Jax. The rest of the night was spent bouncing from here to there talking to anyone and everyone and for a brief break we went over to the Starlight Hookah Lounge and had a bowl of Blueberry.During the morning hours I had a wonderful surprise as I was walking around getting some morning after pictures when I bumped into Coyote, Lazy, and Toaster. We hung out for a while and admired the cool tent setup that they had. It's always a lot of fun seeing old faces that you have not seen in a while.
I swung by the DnB area just in time to catch the end of Rob Bass' set and see Badger.All in all it was a pretty fun party. It did get pretty cold between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, but those are the typical "cold hours" at the ranch. I hope everyone that went had fun and I'll see you all at the next party.
