hey, how do i do gang crimes?

When your're a member you can't do gang crimes, however, when I changed your rank to Quartermaster you can now go to the gang link and down below you'll see Manage Gang Crime. Click on that and chose your crime.

The best so far is Rob a port [10 people] for 500,000.

yeah i see how you can do a gang crime through the manage gang crime link... but can you particpate in the gang crime that's in progress??

It's not really a participation thing. It's whoever clicks on it first, time runs down and at the end the gang passes or fails. The loot gained is added to the vault so that we can purchase more things for the gang.
